Favorite and Fun Summertime Drinks

    Summer is in full swing!

    Beat the heat with these refreshing drinks, including Mojito Pitcher, Tequila Sunrise, among others.

    1.    Tequila Sunrise

    To prepare this classic cocktail for yourself, you’ll need to pour two teaspoons of grenadine into a tall glass. Now, add ice cubes, 3 tablespoons of tequila, 1 tablespoon of triple sec, 1 large orange juice, 1 cocktail cherry, and ½ juiced lemon in a cocktail shaker. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels cold.

    Pour the content into the glass. Throw in a few ice cubes and enjoy!

    2.    Passion Fruit Martini

    This is one of the most sought-after summertime drinks out there. It bursts with flavors and quenches your thirst instantly.

    To prepare this cocktail recipe, you will need to first scoop out all the seeds from a passion fruit into a serving glass. In a cocktail shaker, mix in a few ice cubes, four tablespoons of vanilla vodka, 2 tablespoons of passoa, 1 tablespoon of lime juice, and 1 tablespoon of sugar syrup. Shake well and pour the cocktail in the glass. Add in the ripe passion fruits and serve right away!

    3.    Frozen Margarita

    For this cool tequila drink, put 3 ½ tablespoons of tequila, 2 ½ tablespoons of triple sec, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, 1 tablespoon of sugar syrup, and some ice in a blender. Blend until all the ingredients are well-mixed.

    Pour the cocktail in a glass, garnish with a wedge of lime, and serve!

    4.    Mojito Pitcher

    This is a classic cocktail, one to share with your guests. All you need is 5 minutes to prepare this delightful Mojito.

    For this refreshing Mojito, you will need six slices (one lime per serving) of limes, 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 4 – 5 mint springs, 2 1/5 cups of sparkling water, and 1 cup of white rum.

    Chop all the lime slices and place them in a plastic jug. Using a muddler, squish the lime wedges to get all the juices out of them. Flatten the mint spring leaves with both of your hands and add them in the jug.

    Fill the jug with lots of ice, rum, and sparkling water. Pour them into tall glasses, put cocktail umbrellas in each glass, and serve!

    5.    Frozen Rose

    Also known as frose, this slushie is a favorite among grown-ups. To prepare this cocktail, pour one bottle of rose into a baking tray and place it in the freezer overnight. The next day, mix 300g of strawberries with 50g of caster sugar until the fruit releases the juice.

    Mix the frozen rose and strawberries together. Divide them in serving glasses. Mix 1tbp of lemon juice in each glass and enjoy!

    6.    Aperol Spritz

    To make this Italian wine-based cocktail, you will need to add 50ml of Aperol in a glass and mix in 1/3 cup of prosecco and top it up with soda!
