Someone you thought would agree with you on the way to handle a problem at work or within a group you belong to does not see things your way. Besides being surprising, this might also be quite upsetting. You are sure you are right, and you may not know where to begin to convince this person of that fact. First, try not to see your opinion as a fact but as a malleable idea. The other party may have something significant to offer, and if you allow for the possibility that there is wisdom there to tap, together you can come up with an excellent solution.
