  1. I will never buy another cordless, battery operated OR wired lawn mower. I owned two over the years… gifts from my family to evidently make me more environmental friendly. Each of those two “mowers” lasted a bit over a year. I’ve had to replace the batteries every six months or so. Nah… I’m very good to go with my old TORO 6.5 hp. gas fueled motor. Front drive wheels, oversized rear wheels, rear bagger, hand control throttle, easy start, and blade brake bar for emergency stop. A little bit of gas goes a long way! Y’all can keep those plastic, battery operated or wired electro mowers.

  2. I am simply amazed that Honda is left off the list of best push mowers. I mow my lawn twice a week and have had my mower since 2008 and all I’ve had to replace are the wheels as they lose tread over time (especially the back wheels that propel the mower.

  3. I had a Honda, RWD bought from a downsizing friend. Keep for 20 years, serviced every fall, minor tune up, oil change, blade sharpened. finally had to replace, oil leak. Found a honda powered RWD unit at SAM’s, very reasonable cost, Works very well on Fla.’s glorified crabgrass.
