Maintain a Proper Hygiene Routine
This includes washing your hands regularly and don’t touch your face. This is most important if you have been in a public place. Make sure to cover your mouth when coughing, sneezing and then always wash your hands after. It is also a good idea to wash clothes after you have been in a public place. Consider the toothpaste, towels, clothes, utensils, drinking glasses, and dishes, try to avoid sharing any of these things with other people in your house. Not just that, but make sure to wash these items properly each time you use them.
Disinfect Surfaces around Your Home Regularly
According to research conducted on coronavirus, it is believed that it can easily survive on numerous surfaces for many hours. So, sanitize commonly used or touched surfaces in your home regularly. These surfaces include doorknobs, work stations, counters, phones, laptops, light fixtures, keyboards, etc to name a few. Here are the CDC guidelines on Disinfecting.
