Out of 12,000, he has already launched 820 Starlink Satellites working in orbit right now. That makes one-third of the total number, though it is not enough to provide broadband coverage yet, Elon Musk states that they are enough to start a full public beta test in a few months. The testers who are residents of North America have tested this connection. They have concluded that never have they ever seen such internet speed through a satellite. Not only does it help you upload or download fast, but it also has a low ping.
The United States has given their approval to the services, and the ones who are using it have received their kit for beta testing. The UK has also granted Starlink a license for competing against the other terrestrial internet companies like the BT Group and OneWeb.
Some people have been stating that they had received 0.5 megabits per second from BT Group, but now they have an average speed of 85 Mbps from Starlink.
